DROP IN - Bassendean Youth Services offers open access Tues -Fri 3pm-6pm. Drop-in sessions offer young people the opportunity to use the centre’s facilities (computers, X Box, video, table tennis, and skate ramps). Youth Workers are onsite at all times and are available to offer assistance, information, support and referrals.
YAC – The Bassendean Youth Advisory Council is represented by young people aged 12 – 25 years who live, work, study or recreate in Bassendean, Ashfield and Eden Hill. YAC members have the opportunity to participate in organising youth events and provide feedback and advocacy to all levels of Government.
JPET - The Bassendean JPET Programme targets young people 16 - 21 years who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or experiencing multiple barriers. The program offers support with accommodation and addresses issues which are impeding their ability to participate in education, employment or training.
RAP - The Resources for Adolescents and Parents Programme offers counselling and advocacy for families and young offenders aged 10 - 18 years or those ‘at risk’ of
offending. |
